The Perfect, Affordable Summer tops..with Chicwish

Style Theory: There is a simple fashion formula to a great summer outfit..a pair of jeans, a pair summer shoes and a really great top to add some drama.

Chicwish have got the drama tops and dresses down to a T, they are an American based brand that I have been stalking for a while on Pinterest and Instagram as they have some real showstopping clothes. Think oversize frills, tulle and lace with some gorgeous designer-esque off the shoulder tops, a little different from the UK high street but just as affordable.

Naturally I opted for a pink top with huge frills...

Top - Chicwish now $46.65
Jeans - J Brand Selena now £158
Bag - Gucci Soho Disco Bag
Necklace - Missoma £105

This Chicwish 'Swanky Ruffle Top' is a perfect going 'out, out' top, just add some jeans and heels and throw a biker jacket over your shoulders and you are good to go. I clashed the top with some red earrings and my red espadrilles, pink and red to me are such a good summer combination. I ordered the medium and it is a good fit for a size 10, I would say the sizes in general come up a little on the small side (particularly with the skirts).

As you (may) know red is my favourite colour this season so this red and white off the shoulder top below is just perfect, it looks designeresque for a fraction of the price...

This season I love the fact that you can mix and match prints and fabrics, clash it all up and make the outfit look more interesting. Also adding a latino twist with layered frills and espadrilles..comfortable and flattering and they give me much needed height.

I ordered the small/medium in this top and it comes up true to size, I think would be perfect for 10-12 - it took me a while to work out which ones are the armholes but when I finally got it right it is fab on!!

Here are a few more items I have my eye on from Chicwish..
Chicwish - now $43.73
This is on my list to order, again this is so designer looking but so affordable. I would style with denim shorts and flat sandals for a cool evening holiday look. Or for the UK style with boyfriend jeans and heels..the perfect going out look.
Chicwish now $51.03
The perfect top for throwing over a swimsuit on the way to the beach or tuck the front into denim shorts or skinny jeans and add a pair of flip flops..similar to the photo below which is also Chicwish..
Chicwish now $51.03
One of my favourite summer looks on Pinterest, love all of this so much, the Chicwish tops looks great.
Chicwish - now $43.73
Such a cute little boho, cotton top..great with denim..

Chicwish is great place to look for exciting new additions to your summer wardrobe..they estimate for the clothes to arrive you to within 12-18 working days and the good news is that they pay for all customs and import duties so you do not need to worry about extra costs.

Have you ordered from Chicwish before, how did you find the clothes..I cannot wait to wear my tops more, come on sun come out again!! As always I would love to hear all your thoughts and comments, until next time Fran xx

All Hail the Jumpsuit

Ph credit Pinterest, Fashion Me Now
Style Theory: Jumpsuits are one of the most chic, comfortable outfit solutions. They look great on, are easier to wear than a dress, they are perfect to dance in, and have a cool edge - granted going to the toilet in them is not always simple, but they do create a striking look..

The high street has embraced the jumpsuit with aplomb, once regarded as an item for the fashion brave to wear now they are regarded as mainstream with a edge. If you haven't already taken the plunge with a jumpsuit, have a go, there are so many styles to suit every shape and size...the perfect item to pack for evenings out on holiday, they look just as good with flats as heels and take minimal styling..

Here are the best on the high street at the moment..

Hush £85
This is my current favourite jumpsuit, it looks so chic on, the spaghetti straps give the top an elegant look and the palazzo style trousers are super chic. It hangs beautifully on, covers a tummy and is super comfortable. It looks great with flat, tan sandals or trainers and would look beautifully elegant with heels. Just throw a black biker jacket over the top to toughen the look up.
Hush was £75 now £55
The black version of this jumpsuit has sold out but I really like the red, I would pair it with pale tan, flat sandals and a basket bag for a beautiful summer outfit. This will also see you into the Autumn and winter too..with a khaki full length winter coat and stan smith trainers.
Me+Em was £119 now £83
Possibly one the THE most flattering jumpsuits, my friend has this and it looks amazing on her. Again, you can wear with trainers, flats or heels..dress up or dress down and wear from the height of summer into the winter (with tan leather 60s style knee high boots) It also comes in Navy which I am so tempted to buy, a navy jumpsuit always looks exquisite on with tan accessories.
Warehouse £45
A light denim, culotte jumpsuit is such a useful item in the summer, wear with trainers for the school run or with red/navy espadrilles for an evening out. The tie straps are stunning..
Warehouse £59
This jumpsuit looks amazing on, Natasha from Wearandwhere was wearing it at an event this week and it looked beautiful on her. Just add some patterned heels and a basket clutch and you have the perfect, chic summer event look.
Warehouse £59
It also comes in pink...would look great with tan leather accessories or clash up with red heels.
Topshop £42
Another really easy item to wear, let the jumpsuit do the talking and keep accessories to a minimum, just wear with a simple pair of flat sandals or flip flops..
Mango £59.99
Maroon is a new colour for me for autumn winter 2017 but one I am quite excited about, it looks great with turquoise accessories, and tan shoes.
Mango £49.99
Slinky, slouchy and perfect for warm evenings abroad..
Zara £29.99
I love the bow detail on the front of this blouse along with the print, a beautiful holiday choice, just add a red clutch and pink or navy espadrilles.

Jumpsuits are the most perfect item of clothing to throw in your case for holidays, they are so easy to style and all that is required are the most basic accessories..a pair of flip flops, a basket bag and a pair of sunglasses and you will be riveria chic in an instant..

Are you a fan of jumpsuits, how do you style yours? As always I would love to hear your thoughts and comments until next time Fran xx

&OtherStories £79
This dress feels amazing on, a cotton/viscose mix, it is super light and floaty, it will will look amazing against sunkissed skin. Take your normal size in this and just add some tan heeled or flat sandals. For an event wear with darker pink shoes and add a splash of colour with a yellow bag.
&Other Stories £95
I have a 'thing' for red dresses this year and this one is gorgeous, perfect dressed up or down..the ideal summer holiday dress.
Ganni at Outnet £69.70
So not a dress but there is nothing better than a beautiful white blouse over swimwear with a pair of denim shorts and some flip flops, looks chic and laid back and perfect for beach to restaurant... I have bought this blouse and it is lovely, you do need to wear a vest top underneath if not wearing it on holiday over a bikini or swimsuit...
Topshop £46

M&S £45
This is the perfect UK summer dress, it has bows, it has pockets, it is 100% cotton and is a midi length..all in all pretty perfect. Wear with simple tan sandals.

A round up of my favourite dresses on the high street at the moment, definitely the easiest items to take on holiday with you as you can so easily wear them to the beach and also out for dinner in the evening, I love clothes that can take me seamlessly from day to evening it means I get lots of wear out of them and my money's worth!
