All Hail the Jumpsuit

Style Theory: Jumpsuits are one of the most chic, comfortable outfit solutions. They look great on, are easier to wear than a dress, they are perfect to dance in, and have a cool edge - granted going to the toilet in them is not always simple, but they do create a striking look..

The high street has embraced the jumpsuit with aplomb, once regarded as an item for the fashion brave to wear now they are regarded as mainstream with a edge. If you haven't already taken the plunge with a jumpsuit, have a go, there are so many styles to suit every shape and size...the perfect item to pack for evenings out on holiday, they look just as good with flats as heels and take minimal styling..

Here are the best on the high street at the moment..

Hush £85
This is my current favourite jumpsuit, it looks so chic on, the spaghetti straps give the top an elegant look and the palazzo style trousers are super chic. It hangs beautifully on, covers a tummy and is super comfortable. It looks great with flat, tan sandals or trainers and would look beautifully elegant with heels. Just throw a black biker jacket over the top to toughen the look up.
Hush was £75 now £55
The black version of this jumpsuit has sold out but I really like the red, I would pair it with pale tan, flat sandals and a basket bag for a beautiful summer outfit. This will also see you into the Autumn and winter too..with a khaki full length winter coat and stan smith trainers.
Me+Em was £119 now £83
Possibly one the THE most flattering jumpsuits, my friend has this and it looks amazing on her. Again, you can wear with trainers, flats or heels..dress up or dress down and wear from the height of summer into the winter (with tan leather 60s style knee high boots) It also comes in Navy which I am so tempted to buy, a navy jumpsuit always looks exquisite on with tan accessories.
Warehouse £45
A light denim, culotte jumpsuit is such a useful item in the summer, wear with trainers for the school run or with red/navy espadrilles for an evening out. The tie straps are stunning..
Warehouse £59
This jumpsuit looks amazing on, Natasha from Wearandwhere was wearing it at an event this week and it looked beautiful on her. Just add some patterned heels and a basket clutch and you have the perfect, chic summer event look.
Warehouse £59
It also comes in pink...would look great with tan leather accessories or clash up with red heels.
Topshop £42
Another really easy item to wear, let the jumpsuit do the talking and keep accessories to a minimum, just wear with a simple pair of flat sandals or flip flops..
Mango £59.99
Maroon is a new colour for me for autumn winter 2017 but one I am quite excited about, it looks great with turquoise accessories, and tan shoes.
Mango £49.99
Slinky, slouchy and perfect for warm evenings abroad..
Zara £29.99
I love the bow detail on the front of this blouse along with the print, a beautiful holiday choice, just add a red clutch and pink or navy espadrilles.

Jumpsuits are the most perfect item of clothing to throw in your case for holidays, they are so easy to style and all that is required are the most basic accessories..a pair of flip flops, a basket bag and a pair of sunglasses and you will be riveria chic in an instant..

Are you a fan of jumpsuits, how do you style yours? As always I would love to hear your thoughts and comments until next time Fran xx

  1. I've just bought my first, and I love it. Looks stylish, but is a comfortable as a pair of pyjamas! Mine has a wrap front, so bathroom visits aren't a problem. It probably won't be my last...

  2. Oh I do love a wrap jumpsuit, aren't they fab and the fact it is easy for the bathroom a double bonus! xxx

  3. This and it looks stunning on her. Once more, you can wear with mentors, pads or heels..dress up or dress down and wear from the stature of summer into the winter with tan calfskin 60s style knee high boots It likewise comes in Navy which I am so enticed to purchase, a naval force jumpsuit dependably looks choice on with tan frill
