I LOVE Leopard print....

Jumper - Me & Em
Skirt - Rixo London
Shoes - M&S
Style Theory: Starting with the most obvious fashion statement..leopard print is a neutral. I think we have all grasped this fact, leopard can be worn with any colour, looks great in so many styles but is best not layered up, for me one piece of leopard print clothing is perfect.

I am obsessed with leopard print, I love it, my wardrobe is becoming full of it, I am not sure whether it is because I am 43 or just that I like it more but I feel comfortable in it, it is sassy and classy at the same time. It adds interest to a basic outfit, an edge and a bit of fun. I love wearing a leopard print shirt with jeans and neutral heels, or a leopard print dress dressed down with tan/black shoes. It is easy, it does all the work so you don't have to... so without further ado here are my fave leopard items..
Ganni £295
This dress took a lot of consideration to buy, the final push was being invited to the NTAs and as usual having 'nothing' to wear, not exactly true but it was a great excuse. It is the most comfortable, light, easy to wear dress, I have worn it so so many times already and cannot wait to wear it in the summer too with flat tan sandals.
Dress - Ganni £295
Boots - Chloe
It is a pure silk dress (hence the price) but does not crease and floats over all lumps and bumps!
Moss Copenhagen at Asos £60
This dress is Scandi perfection, just pop a black body underneath or a chunky red jumper over the top, this dress with take you straight through to summer and onto next season..
Asos £38
This gives the Ganni look at a fraction of the price, wear with tan knee high boots now or black opaques and black heels and in the summer with tan sandals.
YAS at Asos £48
Love the wrap and ruffle detail on this skirt, this would look fab with a black poloneck and heels.
Warehouse at Asos £32
A super chic take on the leopard print shirt, love this with black ankle length jeans and white stan smith trainers.
Zara £29.99
An easy way to add a little leopard into your wardrobe, just add a pair of black dungarees and trainers.
Lollys Laundry at Born at Dawn £74.95
Now bear with me with these trousers, they look amazing on, all you need is a black cashmere polo neck and a pair of black pointed heels or team with a pair of trainers. I am not sure how long they are but I will order them and let you know!
Lily and Lionel £300
This is on the super top end of what I would spend but this dress is the most gorgeous shape, I love the plunging but sophisticated neckline and gentle shaping. It is 100% silk crepe so would be light as a feather on.

Scamp and Dude £50
Love these Scamp and Dude sweaters the perfect way to dress down leopard.
Sezane €210
This bag is on my shopping list, the perfect size, very 2018 shape and looks (and is!) expensive.
Dune £70
Sometimes you just need a really great, not too high, pair of leopard court shoes. These ones are THE ones to get, the heel is the perfect height, the toe just pointed enough, wear with a pair of boyfriend jeans and a black poloneck now, in the summer wear with your black summer dresses.
Air and Grace £159
These are the most comfy trainers, like walking on air, I have them and they are such a fab schoolrun, pair of pumps.

There is a round up of all my favourite leopard items on the high street at the moment, such a timeless and cool print, I see my wardrobe soon being dominated by it!

Are you a leopard print fan, do you find you have more and more in your wardrobe? As always I love hearing your thoughts and comments, until next time Fran xxxx

  1. Even though I love leopard on others, when I see a leopard post, my first reaction is not for me. Then I start to think, I can do leopard (and other animal prints) as long as they're not in the "natural" colour. I do own a breton I love which has leopard print around the neck, crucially the print is blue. This goes for another much loved snakeskin print scarf, again it's blue.
What I take away from this post is your outfit, I have a skirt that is a similar shape, and yes it will look great with an oversize sweater and heels. And how great are those shoes! So even though I'm not (on the face of it) a leopard person, this post is inspiring for me too!

  2. Just ordered the Asos dress. I've tried the Ganni and adore it but just a bit short for me, so fingers crossed for this one. Great price too! Thanks xx
