Summer Tops Galore

Style Theory: Is there anything more useful that a little summer top? Sometimes you just need a new top to it shake things up in your wardrobe, it gives a summer uniform of a top, jeans and trainers freshness...

Here are my favourite tops on the high street now...

The classic peasant top, will be a perfect addition to any wardrobe.. wear with ankle length jeans and red wedge heeled espadrilles..

I love this top, so easy to wear just add jeans or denim shorts and a pair of black wedge heeled espadrilles (I am so loving coordinating espadrilles this season!)

Navy always looks chic in the summer, especially against sunkissed skin.

This is a twist on the plain tee, the body is classic cotton t-shirt but the arms elevate this to a pretty cool top. Easy to wear, comfortable  - I would wear this with ankle length blue jeans, black espadrilles and a basket bag - my favourite summer look..

Gingham is here to stay and this top will be gorgeous under a black biker with a pair of blue jeans and pink espadrilles to pick up the pink embroidery in the top.

With a black vest top underneath this lace top would look super chic..Add a pair of boyfriend jeans and tan leather heeled sandals..

I love lace and I am also a fan of a peplum top, it hides a tummy so well, (wear with a nude/white vest top underneath). Perfect with a pair of denim shorts and flat tan strappy sandals, add an oversized basket bag. I also really like these tops to wear under cosy cardigans on cooler summer evenings, super chic.

I love a blouse in the summer and this one is perfect, it would look cool with a pair of skinny ankle length jeans and black wedge espadrilles (check out H&M for the best and most reasonable espadrilles - they are so comfy too)

I have literally had to hold myself back from ordering every single one of those tops above, they are all gorgeous and to be honest I am feeling a little uninspired when I look in my wardrobe at the moment, it needs some new life breathed into it but I will have to add to it in (slow, affordable stages!)

How is your summer wardrobe shaping up, are with me on the top, jeans and espadrille look, I love wedge espadrilles as they give me some much needed height, make my short legs look longer and thinner and can add a pop of colour to a simple outfit.
