Style Theory: I think the thing I wear most is a hoody, I am 43 and you would have thought I would have grown out of them by now but no, I love them, particularly to sling on for the school run. A hoody, a pair of great jeans and a comfy pair of trainers are my three must have daily items.

So lets start with the humble hoody. For me they look pretty good dressed up or dressed down, wear with jeans and trainers or wear with boyfriend jeans and heels for the perfect relaxed, going out look. They look great over smarter coats, add a cool edge to a conservative look and make everything 10 times more comfy.

Here are my favourite hoodies on the high street now....
Topshop £26
I love love blue at the moment, this is a super flattering colour, add a touch of red lipstick (to match the heart) and a pair of jeans and trainers for a cool look.

Love the yellow too, just wear with a pair of ankle length jeans and black vans trainers..

Khaki is such a good neutral colour to have in your wardrobe and instantly 'toughens' up a look.Pair this with a leopard print coat, blue jeans and red trainers - will look pretty good in the summer too with denim shorts and a pair of white supergas and sunkissed skin.
Topshop £29
I have this hoody, it is really long on me (I am 5ft3) but I love it for wearing to and from the gym/pilates..I also take it on holiday to be extra cosy on the plane..
